We're Back! A Message to Our Golden Pines Family

It's been a while since we updated our blog, and we owe you an update!

First and foremost, we want to say thank you — to our wonderful residents who fill our homes with warmth and laughter every single day, to the families who trust us with the care of your loved ones, and to our incredible staff who go above and beyond in everything they do.

Golden Pines has been as busy as ever. Our homes continue to be vibrant, loving places where residents thrive and families feel welcome.

Staying Warm Through the Freeze

As many of you know, Southeast Michigan experienced an extended cold snap over the past two to three weeks, with dangerously low temperatures and severe winter weather. We want you to know that throughout it all, our residents remained safe, warm, and cozy in our comfortable homes.

We increased our staffing levels during the worst of the weather to make sure every resident received the extra attention and care they needed. Our team showed up — through icy roads and bitter cold — because that's who they are. We couldn't be prouder.

Meals were served hot, the heat stayed on, and our residents enjoyed movie nights, card games, and plenty of warm blankets while the winter raged outside.
