Frequently Asked Questions

We understand that choosing an assisted living home is a big decision. Here are answers to the questions families ask us most often. If you don't see your question here, please contact us — we're happy to help.

We provide comprehensive assisted living services including medication management, help with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, mobility), 24-hour supervision, transportation to medical appointments, nutritious home-cooked meals, social activities, respite care, and hospice coordination. Our care is personalized to each resident's unique needs.

We have two residential homes in Troy, Michigan. Herbmoor House is located at 6131 Herbmoor St, Troy, MI 48098. The Daley Home is located at 3178 Daley Dr, Troy, MI 48083, conveniently near the I-75 Rochester Rd exit. We serve families throughout Southeast Michigan.

Our homes are small, residential settings where each resident receives personal, one-on-one attention. Unlike large facilities where residents can feel lost in the crowd, our caregivers know each resident by name and treat them like family. We provide all the services of bigger facilities in the comfort of a warm, home-like environment.

When visiting assisted living homes, pay attention to the cleanliness and warmth of the environment, the staff-to-resident ratio, how staff interact with residents, the quality of meals, available activities, and the overall atmosphere. We encourage you to visit Golden Pines and see firsthand the loving care we provide.
